In this article, we’d be seeing a step-by-step tutorial on how you can check your airtel data balance using both the USSD and Airtel mobile app. Airtel is a telecommunications company that provides a wide range of services, including mobile and fixed-line phone services, broadband and TV services, and enterprise solutions. It is one of the largest telecommunications companies in India and has a presence in 18 countries across Asia and Africa, including Nigeria.
Airtel offers various prepaid and postpaid mobile plans for its customers, as well as broadband plans for home and business users. It also offers a range of value-added services, such as caller tunes, international roaming, and cloud storage.
How Can I Check My Airtel Data Balance
To check your Airtel data balance, you can follow these steps:
- Dial *123# from your Airtel mobile phone. This is the USSD code for checking your balance and data usage on Airtel.
- You will see a menu with several options. Select the option for checking your data balance by typing “2” and pressing the send button.
- You will receive a message showing your current data balance and the validity period of your data pack.
NOTE: In some SIMS, dialling *123# will bring out your airtime balance instead of a menu to choose from. You can also dial *123*2# to check your data balance without having to go through the steps.
Alternatively, you can also check your data balance by downloading the My Airtel app from the App Store or Google Play Store. After installing the app, sign in with your Airtel mobile number and password to view your data balance and other account details.
Note: Keep in mind that the data balance shown on the My Airtel app may not always be accurate, as it may not reflect data usage in real time. If you want to get a more accurate view of your data usage, it is recommended to check your data balance using the USSD code method described above.
