In this article, we’d be seeing a step-by-step guide on how you can link your National Identification Number (NIN) to your MTN number. Following the Nigerian government’s directive to the telecommunications companies instructing them to bar outgoing calls on mobile lines not linked with the National Identification Number (NIN), some MTN subscribers have started experiencing issues making calls on their phones.
Before I proceed to the article properly, kindly note that I’m assuming that you have already enrolled for your National Identification Number (NIN) at the National Identity Management Commission (NMC).
If you’re yet to, kindly proceed to the NIMC enrolment centres close to you. It is typically located at the local government secretariat and can also be done at the National Identity Management Commission’s office in your state’s capital. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, enrolment is free, don’t pay anyone for it.
