Royal White Sheep are a hairy sheep breed. They are privately funded and developed in the United States of America by William Hoag, Dorpcroix Sheep Farm in Hermleigh, Texas.
It is currently undergoing genetic modifications and improvements. The Royal White Sheep grow a longer hair coat in the fall which is shed off naturally during spring.
They are designed to be off the ground far enough not to affect body temperature. It was created from a crossbreed of the St. Croix and Dorper sheep with their negative traits removed via selective breeding over many years.
