Born on the 14th of October, 1969, Olanipekun Olukoyede is a Nigerian lawyer, pastor and current Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The president appointed him on the 12th of October, 2023 and he serves as a pastor in the City of Refuge, Lagos Province 12, Shasha, Lagos State, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Olanipekun attended Harvard University, Lagos State University, the University of Lagos, the Institute of Arbitration in Lagos and the Institute of Arbitration in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, France.
He worked in a law firm owned by former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and was nominated Secretary to the EFCC in 2018.
Olukoyede is a member of the Fraud Advisory Panel, United Kingdom and has played major roles in the conviction of several politicians for white-collar crimes.
